Currently, in his second semester at Nogales, Jacobo is a young man who has an entrepreneurial spirit.

Jacobo grew up involved in the local produce industry. His passion for business and entrepreneurship led him to further his studies in business, better preparing him to become a business professional. Jacobo is currently enrolled in the Organizational Leadership & Regional Commerce: Regional Commerce Emphasis Degree at the University of Arizona Nogales. He says the following about his experience as a transfer student, and at the University of Arizona thus far, “My path to being a transfer student was indeed an adventurous one. I am a proud transfer student from Cochise College. My experience so far has been an absolutely joyous one. Taking that next step in furthering my education after college was a no-brainer. As a student at the University of Arizona Nogales, I have learned so much more than I thought was possible. The University of Arizona has made my experience an unforgettable one.”
